                 BORRA CAVES formed millions of years ago and located at Borra village, Vishakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. The Borra Caves are located in the Anantagiri Hills of Eastern Ghats and are situated at 1400m above sea level and occupy an area of 2 sq.km.

                 The given above wallpaper is entrance of the Borra Caves. The history report state that, the Borra Caves were discovered by William King George, the British geologist.

                 The Borra Caves open with 100 meters on horizontal plane and about 75 meters on vertical plane and deep in the Borra Caves, there is a Shiva Lingam over which there is an idol of a cow. According to this legend, a cow ,grazing on the top of the Borra Caves, fell down 60m, through a hole in the roof and the cowherd came across the caves, while searching for the cow.

                 The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation illuminates the Borra Caves  with 63 lamps of Mercury, Sodium Vapor and Halogen lamps, which makes the interior of the caves colorful and spectacular.

                 There are about 4 hours long journey from Vishakhapatnam  and the route is a steep, winding, ghat road. The history state that, inside the borra caves the human brain appears beautifully on one of the rock.

                  Thousands of people have been visiting this Borra Caves daily with their families and also this caves inside and outside images or wallpapers are collected by many people.
