The Action Park is an amusement park located in Vernon, New Jersey, USA and This Action Park was opened on 26th May 1978 to until 1996 while it was owned and operated by Great American Recreation, and at that time Action Park was become a popular tourist spot and visitor or tourist people enjoyed and took the wonderful photos and scenes.

The USA Action Park started out with two Water-slides in the summer of 1978 and later Small deep water swimming pools, tennis courts, and a soft hall field.Ultimately the Action Park consisting of the Alpine Slides and two water-slides evolved to a major destination with 75 rides.

The Action Park advertised as the World's largest Waterpark and its website was actionpark .com on which tourist people could find information about rides, directions to the park, and lodging etc.The Acton Park was got the more popularity, and increased the strength of visitors.Visitors will be enjoying here and take the photo snaps in various places.

The Action Park most successful years were the mid-1980s,but in 1982, the deaths of two tourist people within a week of each other and ensuing permanent closure of one ride took place at Vernon, New Jersey, USA.At this time the tourist spot popularity decreased due to covering of News Papers daily in their editions.The Park drawbacks are poorly designed, unsafe rides, under aged, under-trained and unprepared visitors etc.

The Action Park was reopened under new management in 1998 as Mountain Creek Waterpark and Crystal springs Resort Ski area.On 2nd April 2014, the original management, who has since repurchased the property,announced that Mountain Creek Waterpark would be renamed back to Action Park beginning with the summer 2014 season.

The original Action Park featured 3 separate tourist spot attractions areas, the Alpine slide, Motor-world, and Water-world. The Water-world was one of the first modem American Waterpark. Many of ts tourist attractions were unique, attracting thrill-seekers from across the New York City metro area, New Jersey.

In April 2014, the Mulvihill Family changed the name of Mountain Creek back to Action Park.Number of rides are available in the park, tourist people will be visiting this spot and enjoying with photo session.This Action Park attracted many visitors, and now in these days the authorities expand the tourist spot features year by year.
