The Glass Beach is beach in Mackerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, Mendocino, California that is abundant in sea glass created from years of dumping garbage into an area of coastline near the northern part of the town.
This Glass Beach is a wonderful attractive tourism spot for World's tourist people.The visited people are enjoying a lot here and they will collecting the photo snaps in various angles.Some people are ready for photo snaps when the time of sun-shining.
In the early 20th Century, Fort Bragg people or residents threw their household garbage over cliffs owned by the union Lumber Company onto what is now Glass Beach, discarding glass, appliances, and even vehicles.The officials closed this area in 1967.
In this Glass beach, over the next several decades the pounding waves cleaned the beach, by breaking down everything but glass and pottery and tumbling those into the small, colored pieces that cover Glass Beach.There are 3 Glass Beach sites in Fort Bragg, Mendocino, where trash was dumping into Ocean between 1906 and 1967.
In 1998, the private owner of the property determined that Glass Beach should belong to the public, and began a 5 years process of working with the California Coast.The Glass Beach tourist spot is now frequently visited by tourism people, the glass collecting is not permitted on the Park's beach, although sea glass can be found on other local beaches outside the park boundary,
The country is celebrating the Glass Festival memorial day, and the people will be enjoying and take the photo snaps on beautiful locations, and this Glass festival has been celebrated annually.Thousands of tourism people visit Fort Bragg's Glass Beaches each day in the summer.There is currently a move to replenish the beaches with discarded glass.
Beginning in 1949, the area around Glass Beach became a public dump, but now the people want to visit here.In Glass Beach area, the visitors do not take the glasses, but they may take the number of Photo snaps here in a different angles.
The Glass Beach is one of most popular tourism spot at Fort Bragg, Mendocino Coast @ California.Recently the Glass Beach has closed on 15th August 2014 and it is continued till 30th November 2014, due to construction and restoration to Coast trail projects.This may inconvenience some tourism people.
The Glass Beach is very shinning with number of glass pieces, and which are likely to appeared as a rainbow photo colors, and glasses are reflected by sun rays and which are very colorful.People want to walk on colored glass pieces and they catches the wonderful photos in their cameras.The visitors takes the beautiful photos from the surrounding hill areas of this tourism destination.
