@ Mariana Trench Deepest Point on Earth and also deepest part of the Pacific Ocean

The Mariana Trench is the deepest point on Earth and it also a deepest part of the World's Oceans. The Mariana Trench is located in the Western Pacific Ocean, to the east of the Mariana Islands. It reaches a maximum-known depth of 10.9 km at the Challenger Deep, a small slot-shaped valley in its floor at its Southern end, although some unreported measurements place the deepest portion at 11.03 km.

The deepest point is founded on Earth by the scientist. The Mariana Trench is about 2,550 km long, but it has an average width of only 69 km.The Mariana Trench is not the part of the sea floor closest to the center of the Earth. The Xenophyophores have been found in the trench by scrips institution of Oceanography researchers at a record depth of 10.6 km below the sea surface.

The Mariana Trench is named for the near by Mariana Island. The islands are part of the island arc that is formed on an over-riding plate, called Mariana Plate on the Western side of the trench. The Mariana Trench is part of the izu-Bonin Mariana Subduction system that forms the boundary between two tectonic plates.

Mariana Trench is located at the bottom of the Western Pacific Ocean, and its deepest point. The researchers founded it is deepest point and deepest location on Earth, and also deepest part of the Ocean in the World. The Mariana Trench deepest point located in the Western Pacific east of the Philippines and an average of approximately 200 km east of the Mariana islands.

The Mariana Trench is a site chosen by researchers at Washington University and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. As on February 2012, at least three other teams are planning piloted submarines to reach the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The photo of Mariana Trench has been shown in this blog content.

The deepest point on Pacific Ocean Mariana Trench is a Crescent-shaped Scar in the earth's crust that measures more than 2550 km long, and territory of Guam is nearly 11 km.The Mariana Trench is part of a global network of deep trough that cut across the Ocean floor. The depths of the Mariana Trench were first plumbed in 1875 by the British Ship H.M.S Challenger.

The majority of the Mariana Trench deepest point is now a U.S protected zone as part of the Mariana Trench Mariana National Monument, established by President George W.Bush in 2009.The graphical photo has been given by the Oceanography researchers.
